This is the newest member of the Crosby family; William Henry Crosby born on October 6th (by the way that is also his cousin McKays birthday) He weighed in at 6.7lbs and 19" long. Very healthy little fellow and peaceful little spirit so glad he has arrived. He also looks very much like his brother Luke, who is soooo excited about having a brother:)

"We cannot afford to be complacent. We live in perilous times; the signs are all around us. We are acutely aware of the negative influences in our society that stalk traditional families. At times television and movies portray worldly and immoral heroes and heroines and attempt to hold up as role models some actors and actresses whose lives are anything but exemplary. Why should we follow a blind guide? Radios blare forth much denigrating music with blatant lyrics, dangerous invitations, and descriptions of almost every type of evil imaginable.

We, as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, must stand up to the dangers which surround us and our families.

Remember that ofttimes the wisdom of God appears as foolishness to men, but the greatest single lesson we can learn in mortality is that when God speaks and a man obeys, that man will always be right.

May we ever follow the Prince of Peace, who literally showed the way for us to follow, for by doing so, we will survive these turbulent times. His divine plan can save us from the dangers which surround us on every side. His example points the way. When faced with temptation, He shunned it. When offered the world, He declined it. When asked for His life, He gave it."

So with the opportunity to drop off Hollie off in Paris and get her safely in her program, we thought what a great chance to celebrate our 30th anniversary, by going on a cruise in the MED. Its been a dream of mine for a long long time. What a boast to a marriage, by limiting phone and internet service!! loved it. What a wonderful chance to see what the world has left, history is so fascinating! I love it.

Hollie studying in Paris for BYU study abroad, it was difficult to leave her there in a different country, but what a great opportunity for her. It will also help her to appreciate one of the greatest blessings to be an American and to live in this absolutely wonderful country. Please pray for her safety.
